Shawn Alford — Founder & CEO

Shawn Alford is a strategic technology and business-systems executive with more than 20 years of experience aligning technology to business vision — including CIO and CEO roles across financial services, blockchain, and digital platforms, and an enterprise turnaround as VP of Information Systems that helped take a $2M loss to a $100M+ profitable operation. Across every role, his work has centered on one thing: replacing human inconsistency with structured, repeatable systems that perform reliably under pressure.

For over a decade as an active options trader, Shawn lived the problem that beats most retail participants — emotional decision-making, FOMO, and inconsistent execution. A technical trading expert but, in his own words, "emotionally flawed when it comes to trading my own money," his turning point came through years of mentorship under Markay Latimer, a veteran trader and educator whose own journey — famously turning $2,000 into over $2 million — is built on structure over speculation across multiple market cycles. Shawn incorporates Markay's core teachings directly into Sentinel AI.

What is Sentinel AI?
Sentinel AI is a rules-based trading system — not a bot you build or babysit. It runs a named engine called PRISM (Pattern Recognition Intraday Signal Management): six checkpoints — DAWN, SENTINEL, SCOUT, THESIS, VERDICT, GUARD — that evaluate every trade in sequence. You set the limits; the system runs the discipline and shows you every decision it makes, in plain language.
How does the strategy make money in any market?
Our flagship strategy, 1DTE Senti SPX, works from a defined-risk structure — think of a line drawn in the sand that Sentinel AI manages against the risk profile you set. It's designed to profit whether the market goes up, down, or sideways, as long as price stays on your side of the line. You don't have to guess direction. Like all options strategies, it carries real risk of loss, and no outcome is guaranteed.
Do you take control of my money?
No. Your capital stays in your own brokerage account, in your name, at all times. Sentinel AI executes the rules you approve and can only apply the risk parameters you set. It never holds or moves your funds, only you can withdraw, and you can pause or stop at any moment.
Do I need trading experience or a big account?
No experience required, and it's built for the everyday investor — you can start with an account as small as $3,000. And because everything is visible, if you want to learn, you can — pair with a mentor or plug into our Academy and learn to read the system's own logs.
